No I always leave the previous one up for a while so people can log it. That's 
never been a problem before.  That's a thought, though-it would certainly be a 
bug that would need to get fixed. With monthly events you can't really archive 
before you submit the next one. 

On the new process you first choose the "event" button, then you put in 
coordinates and it shows them on the map, without any other waypoints visible.  
 As soon as the map showed my coords, I didn't get any kind of alert or 
warning- the page completely froze up.
