Speaking of mushrooms.... what is it with all of them coming up in the yard recently???? They are huge! In full bloom or whatever I swear you could sit chairs under them and have a picnic! And I have found a couple other varieties coming up in clusters out in the yard today. The only ones that I eat and recognize in the fall are the puffballs. And maybe a Saddle Dryad. Hey guys... Do any of you do any fall mushroom hunting? I went out yesterday to an area that produces decently and made off with some puffballs, coral mushrooms, black trumpets (related to chanterelles) and cinnabar chanterelles. Today I bagged some regular golden chanterelles. Good stuff! Cheers, -Michael
