I have been meaning to do this for quite some time, but
the recent discussion on this newsgroups has forced me
to make a stand.
Due to the on-going debate about the disparity in cache
distribution, physical location and proximity, container
types and shades of hiding techique, under-rating and
over-rating by cache placers, difference between a 1/1
virtual and a 5/5 multi, I have made the following changes
regarding how SLAGA members are rated on the geostl.com
Member Stats page:

Locationless finds will be counted as -1. The more you
find, the lower your rating is. (If you've ever logged a
yellow jeep as a locationless cache, any finds
you log in the next 6 months are not counted).

Virtuals and web-cams are counted as 0. Find all you
want; I don't care.

Micro finds are counted as .99 finds (I supposed they
are worth something).

Event caches are only counted if I happen to also be at
the event, too.

If the cache is within 100 yards of a house or a playground
or a school, you get 1 point for NOT hunting it.

If you find a cache with a group, you all have to split the find
evenly amoung all of you. And all fraction finds are rounded
down :-)

Any cache that took me 30 minutes or more to find, the
cache placers is penalized 1 find.

Any cache that tooke me 30 seconds or less to find, the cache
placer is penalized 1 find.

If you log a Mohmer letterbox, your find count is reset to 0.

Any questions?
