- Wow, I found that cache in early Sept. in a park on campus in downtown Columbia, how it doesn't get muggled on a daily basis is beyond me. It is in a hollow spot on a tree right at eye level, I'm not quite 6'. When I was searching for it I stopped by the tree to check my gps and looked Right at it. I'm glad to see that it's still there. I really need to load up the gps and make another day of it in Columbia. Alot of nice caches there, full of parks and the Katy trail is awesome. I'm sure in a few weeks the leaves will start changing and we'll have to get the jackets out. -57' ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jen Guyer" <jennifer.guyer@xxxxxxxxx> To: <geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, October 03, 2005 9:44 PM Subject: [GeoStL] Cagney's Foot Wash - My MIL told me that Cagney's Foot Wash cache was on a tv news story on geocaching in Columbia a few weeks ago. She told me that they pulled it out of its hiding spot on tv!? Hmm, no wonder the letterboxers wouldn't talk to the reporters that did a story there recently. Anyway, the cache is no longer mine. It's been adopted by the geography prof at MU that uses it every year for her class. But I thought I would share that it is getting publicity again. Hope it doesn't get muggled for its publicity! I am going to see if I can find out more about the story.
