No, it was not selected. When I do select it, then manual rotation is
allowed. I understand
that this is intended to allow Geeqie to rotate the file automatically
based upon the EXIF
settings, but I'm curious as to why manual rotation is not allowed when it
is off?
I was never aware of this setting so it must have been set on for a long
time and then
turned off at some point. The status seems to be remembered between
invocations.
What can I do to force it to always be on? In the
~.config/geeqie/geeqierc.xml file there is
the line:
image.exif_rotate_enable = "false"
I tried setting this to true, but even so, if the option is turned off and
Geeqie exited, it
remembers the off position and restores that later. Any way to make this
permanent?
