Depends on the environment.Very often on a mac it’s in /etc/apache2 or
/etc/httpd.On my laptop I use XAMPP (works nicely since I’m not running
the web server all the time) and in that case it’s actually within a
directory inside the /Applications directory.Windows would be something
else entirely.
It’s definitely cool the things that you can do with mod_rewrite.And
once you set it up, it’s solid.But as one of my favorite quotes puts it:
Despite the tons of examples and docs, mod_rewrite is voodoo. Damned
