Could we put FreeBoxen in gaylords until shelving is purchased or built? The shelving at the initial testing end of the workshop is full so components end up on the floor. FreeBox gaylords would allow us to clear the floor and open space in the shelves immediately. The completed FreeBoxen can be transferred from gaylords to new shelving once the latter are in place. We need to also break down some of the excess gaylords to free up room in the warehouse area. I would like to avoid putting completed Freebox systems in gaylords if at all possible due to the likelihood of them being damaged. I would rather have them put on shelves and covered for storage until they are given out. New volunteers are excellent news. We could certainly use them for deman as well as assembling shelving, cleaning and testing systems and loading the OS on Freeboxen. We may have second steel gaylord in the warehouse already but I can't remember. -----Original Message----- >From: Tom Brown <tbrown@xxxxxxxxxxxx> >Sent: Sep 24, 2010 10:19 AM >To: frgeek-michiana@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [frgeek-michiana] Re: Warehouse Report 9-23-2010 > >Thanks for the report. > >Here's my plan for next Thursday. > >1.
