Are any dictionaries that are part of the Freedict project comparable in
breadth and accuracy to leading, authoritative dictionaries, for example,
the Oxford English Dictionary, in English?
How are the Freedicts created? Is the data scraped from pre-existing
dictionary-type resources, or is it generated by some kind of algorithm on
corpus materials? Or does each Freedict have its own unique backstory of
how it was built?
I am looking to find or maybe make a really comprehensive dictionary,
perhaps German -> English.
