Thursday 14.4 (it's Easter weekend, so Thursday is equivalent to

Just noticed that Thursday 14.4 is also Ubuntu-22.04 LTS's "Final
Freeze".

I'm not 100% sure it's a good idea to release freeciv on 14.4, with
the risk that some of those final ubuntu updates break it for
ubuntu-22.04, compared to releasing just a day later when Ubuntu is
already frozen. (This with the observation with some earlier Ubuntu
release cycles that they seem to release a lot of updates in the last
minute, before the freeze makes it impossible)
For personal reasons (I'm not sure if I can make the release on any
other day than already planned 14.4) I'm likely to go by "Release
14.4, and if ubuntu-22.04 breaks, make another release to fix that as
soon as possible."
