I have a couple myself and I still use them. You cannot get refills, but
hallmark gives away a adapter which allows you to use "cross" type refills. It
is
a bit tricky to work your way through the Hallmark website to find the
"contact us" link, but it is there, and all you need to do is to send them an
email
with the number of the adapters you need, and they will put them in the mail.

Interestingly I saw on ebay yesterday, someone selling these adapters,
starting bid was 14.99 with 5 or so shipping, and I emailed him/her. They said
they
had metal ones, and they came from a Hallmark representative estate or
consignment. Oh well, if it will sell.

the pens came in Walnut, Hickory and a few other woods. You can ebay search
for Hallmark wooden pens, and you will find them quite frequently and when you
do, usually they list the wood types.

Good luck
Randy
