Vintage Wahl Eye Candy: Sapphire Shell Doric

Just picked this one up, and owe note of thanks to Pearce Jarvis for pointing
me in its direction.
2nd Generation Wahl Doric, mid-late 1930's, vaunted blue shell with white trim.
Largest size. This one is not perfect (how many are?) with need for a better
nib and possible (i have yet to loupe it) single ridge of barrel threads
mushed/stripped with absolutely no impact on cap closure. But... grand color
without crazing or fluorescence. Sharp imprint. Superb trim. A
not-so-easy-to-find Doric by any stretch.
It shoots up nicely too ;)
