Couple years back, I was getting ready for a flight out of town and refilling
my pens for the trip. Using a bottle of Sheaffer washable blue, I did not
set it down right, and onto the light tan carpet it went. Nearly a half bottle,
and I had to be at the airport within 45 minutes. Only thing I could think of
was Oxyclean, and I mixed up a bottle and throughly doused the spilled ink.

On my return, it was completely gone............ much to my pleasant
surprise, as I was in a rental and was looking at my damage deposit go out the
window.
