A while back a few of my teacher friends were asking where they could get
the Scripto 1.1 mm pencil I was using, taking some notes at a teacher's
conference.

Since I was expecting to get a few more from a friend I gave away my last
pencil. In scratching around trying to find replacements, until the other
pencils arrive I found the above links in my favorites.

Anyway, the above links are a couple of sources for the pencils I've found
over the years. The ebay merchant "bobby121" is a teacher who makes a buck
selling pencils and stuff on Ebay. Very reputable lady.

The other link is to Roger Russell's site. Go there and it's self
explanatory. His prices are a bit higher than Bobby's but he's a nice fellow
from whom
I've purchased pencils in the past. Plus he's a Scripto/Skillcraft historian
and has some nice information available.

If anyone out there has another source for the 1.1 mm pencils let me know. I
buy from AutoPoint too, and in fact just ordered some more graphite leads; so
I know about that one already. They also have a couple of versions of the
1.1 mm pencil they sell. I have a couple of the Jumbo 1.1 mm pencils; love
them
too. I'm a bit of a pencil freak, teaching math and requiring my students to
have pencils; no pens allowed. I use my fountain pens for grading though.

Besides being a pencil freak, I also like the Pentel click erasers, for
which I'm having trouble finding the refills by themselves.

Take care and ya'll let me know if you have/know of other sources for the
1.1 mm Scripto/Skillcraft pencils.

cheers!
Jim
