It seems dbvu does not understand all block types. I suspect that that is
what it is telling you.

I've run into that with CP60s and the new ECBs.

Subject: [foxboro] running dbvu with foreign device gateway

Dear list,
We've recent use "dbvu" to get the block details of our new Foreign
Device
Gateway (FDG30), but without any success. The following is the exact
command
line that we have used on our sun box (AW51B, I/A 6.2):

/opt/fox/bin/tools/dbvu -t -CDBFD1501.UC -Mmggw30_3.map -IOS1MG3

Executing the above command will generate the following error message:
NAME *= FD1501_ECB:PRIMARY_ECB (2:1) TYPE=211 PERIOD=0 PHASE=0
DEV_ID=FD1501
DESCRP=' '
ERR:gt_imdob: unknown block type 211

**FORCED EXIT #40 GOOD BYE!

Can the list please show me what went wrong? The following output shows
the
available image and map file in the AW (under /usr/fox/sp/files):

# ls *.map
OS1C30.map OS1C40.map OS1C4B.map gc4_ge.map mggw30_3.map
# ls OS*
OS1C30 OS1C40.GDT OS1C4B.map OS1LI OS1MG3.GDT OS2GC4
OS1C30.GDT OS1C40.map OS1CS OS1LI.mp2 OS1UC OS6AW1
OS1C30.map OS1C4B OS1CS.mp2 OS1MG3 OS1UC.mp2
OS1C40 OS1C4B.GDT OS1FD3.GDT OS1MG3.186 OS2GC3

Best regards,
Asfa
