I'm in Lake Charles, LA. Our city has taken in about 20,000 refuges from New Orleans, many of which have been trapped in the Super Dome. All of our shelters are filled as well as a rodeo coliseum. Hotels and motels are taking in people rent free and our state parks and other RV parks have waived fees as well. We're getting a lot of first hand horror stories. I'm going to have to say that both the local and federal governments have seriously failed these people. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeremy Milum" <jmilum@xxxxxxxxx> To: <foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 02, 2005 8:24 AM Subject: [foxboro] everyone ok? > How is everyone doing since the hurricane? > > --=20 > Patron saints in general are broadband connections to the Almighty > - Michelle Delio, Wired News > > > _______________________________________________________________________ > This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process > Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
