Thanks for the reply Steve. I'll see if I can correlate the OMoverruns with the failures to read from I/A. Mind you, there are only around 50 OM overruns per week and the Compounds are running in a CP60. The loading on this station is around the 20%. Idle time 80.2% Another thing that might be of interest is that the change to FoxAPI more or less coincided with the upgrade to 6.2.1. The current station software is V6.5.2 Cheers, Frits. =20 -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of steve.shimp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, 23 May 2005 23:10 To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [foxboro] Unreliable API calls. This is probably due to loading since this bit of code works most of the time. Are you seeing OM overruns on the station hosting C1SETUP? We use C programs to push information into control blocks and have found that when the code references the same block repeatedly, without any sleep statements, information will be lost or unresolvable. When this happens, the CP will report OM overruns. Hello Gang, I have a bit of an issue with API calls and in particular the one offs li=3D =3D3D ke uread and uwrite.
