A group at Texas Tech developed a process model based pH control strategy
years ago that works. It involves multiple pH probes (at least two, three
for feedback) and two neutralizer addition points. For more information, I
suggest contacting Dr. James Riggs, Dept. of Chemical Engineering, PO Box
43121, Lubbock, TX 79409-3121, phone 806-742-1765. I'm sorry, my contact
information doesn't include an e-mail address, but you might find more on a
Texas Tech web site.
