Perhaps another possibility would be to initialize the four variables differently. Instead of <-:.->, couldn't they be initialized to a static Boolean variable--one that is always 0? (Create a CIN block, then link it back to itself--e.g. <SomeCompound:BogusCIN.COUT>) Then, the unused trends would merely be a straight line across the bottom of the graph. The point would always be there to get the quick start times. I'll admit I haven't tried it yet... But if it works--and if you use a standard overlay--it should only involve changing and dispersing one overlay.
