Brian,

We have used an Anybus Serial Server (www.hms.se) to convert serial Modbus
to TCP Modbus. Works very well, easy to configure. One big advantage was
that the unit will accept a wide variety of power inputs (DC or AC).

Subject: [foxboro] Modbus Serial Connection

We have a need to connect Modbus serial to an FDSI, as is usual distance is
an issue. Has anyone tried and used a Modbus Serial to Fiber
Transciever/Modem/converter? Recommendations?
Thanks,
Brian Long
