David, I looked at the .x file for one of the transmitters on our system. The following parameters in the .x file had the same as the high/low range in the transmitter. @P UP_RNG 300.000 @P LO_RNG -30.000 This information is almost at the EOF. I guess this is what you was asking? If not let me know.=20 -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Johnson Sent: Monday, January 28, 2008 11:17 AM To: Foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] Intelligent transmitter to Dumb engineer Conversion Hello all, We have been asked to assist with a conversion of a lot of Foxboro=20 transmitters that currently speak FoxComm and change them to=20 4-20ma. Which means I will have to check all of the AIN blocks to=20 make sure that they are ranged correctly when we change the SCI. In=20 the ECB directory there is a .x file for each FoxCom=20 transmitter. What I need to know is, is are there numbers somewhere=20 in the .x file that indicate what the high and low ranges will be if=20 the transmitter is placed in 4-20ma mode. Thanks, David =20 =20 _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
