Re: InSQL vs. InFusion Historian - Data Access
The core historian is unchanged. The data collection mechanism is different.

InSQL on top of an I/A Series system uses the IDAS mechanism which usually
implemented using AIM*OPC DA Server to feed the data.

InFusion Historian uses a AW70 running the InFusion Application Environment
which in turn hosts a Historian (Data Collector) Object which gets its data
from the I/A Series DI Object and I/A Series DA Server. AIM*API is not used in
this approach.

Re: InFusion Historian
InFusion Historian does not collect alarm messages and does not support the
FoxView Alarm Historian Display. You need AIM*Historian for that.

My understanding is that the latest pricing for InFusion Historian includes
AIM*Historian as a message collector; however, I may be incorrect - check with
your Client Sales Executive (acct rep).

Re: QF to link FoxView Trends to InFusion Historian
The QF is QF1009277.

I don't know if it will work with "generic" InSQL, but I expect that it would.
