The User Display is from the right-click menu after selecting the alarm,
correct? If so, that is done from the DispAlarmCfg program found under the
Config menu in FoxDraw.
You need run the program and select the filename.am file located in
/usr/fox/customer/config. You need to do this from the machine it was created
from.
If this program was not used and done manually like we used to do, look in
/usr/fox/customer/alarms/cfg folder and browse the am_def.cfg and AWNAME.cfg
files. You may find the display call in there. Search for "user".

Thank you,
but in this case I am not necessarily referring to an AW with keyboard, the AW
however has a pan and tab file filled with Tags and their displays.
In this company the operators use only 1 button on the keyboard: the
acknowledge button. However, there is the alarm manager on AWs with and without
keyboard (the process button next to system button). There a User_disp can be
called too, without the presence of a keyboard, but with the presence of pan
and tab file, right?
And that is where my problem is, on AW with and without keyboard, when clicking
this button that calls user_disp on alarm manager the wrong picture openes.

Alarms are sent to an annunciator keyboard to light the led of a
button, per the alarm panel AAtab file.
Whatever display is assigned to that same button is considered the
user disp.. AApan If no display assigned, the default display of the
alarm point is suppose to appear The theory is, Alarm comes in, LED
lights, push that button, display appears.\User Disp uses these
references..

Hello dear list readers,
I have a small annoyance with an alarm manager.
After clicking an alarm in alarm manager the operator clicks a button
to open the graphic where the tag is found. This button is set to
"user_disp", for calling the display of this alarm.
Where is then configured which fdf has to be opened?
Foxdoc B0700AP_B says in alarm table and alarm panel.
In there are the alarms defined, but the fdf that is configured there
is a different one than the one that is opened.
The problem is that a alarm management graphic is opened, instead of
the wanted normal fdf file.
My take is, the displays are searched alphabetically and the alarm
management graphics of the client are in the folder "AM", therefore
found before the actual display wanted.
Where can I set the display to open? Additionally, for alarms not
configured in tab and pan file, where is pointed to the graphics root
folder? The search has to start somewhere, but this configuration in
DispAlarmCfg I have not found yet. Can the search be configured
diferently, globally? Not alphabetically, but reverse alphabetically?
Or only specific subfolders within the display folder?
best regards,
Dmitri
