If it is really SPEC200, it is an analog control system and therefore: 1) There is no information located in the system unless you are referring to the wiring. 2) There is no information to extract except for the cards used and how they are interconnected. 3) There is no location for information inside the system 4) There are no backups 5) There is no readable format We did offer SPEC200 migration cards. See PSS 21H-7R1B3, but I believe that they are in Mature (or Lifetime) now. These cards plugged into the SPEC 200 slots and preserved the wiring, but move the control to the controller. If what you have is INTERSPEC - SPEC 200 with special cards for computer communication, we offered an INTERSPEC integrator - see PSS 21H-7G1B3. This module presented SPEC 200 data on the Nodebus. I believe that this is also in Mature or Lifetime. If what you have is really a SPECTRUM system, the answers are much more complicated. There are a variety of controllers and I/O modules and supervising computers and workstations. All of this information is available from our Client Sales Executive. Tell me where you are and I'll arrange for someone to call. Please share all the information you have. We are looking for options to migrate this system. Even we plan to consider the third-party vendors. What are all the information needs to be extracted from the spec200 system? Where this information is located inside the system? How to take the backup? How to convert into readable format? Is there anyway that we can connect this system to the latest Foxboro system ? Please share the experience if you had already done. Thanks in Advance, Regards, Bhaskar _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
