There's a helpful hint on the CSC web site that deals with running Foxboro
apps non-root. It's about three pages and entails a significant number of
system mods. Personally, I found it to be too much work to do every time
we did a Day 0 or ran a commit, but it may work for you.

Hi,

which I/A series applications on a Solaris Box can run under another
account than root?

Has anyone experience in this field for example building display under a
normal user account (that is a non root account)?
