Andrew, The 40 overruns in a week, with Total CPLOAD below 50% is a little weird. Are the control phases balanced? Do you have sequence blocks? If, yes, perhaps you can put the CPLOAD and FBCSCAN into your historian to see if there is a peak when sequence blocks run. Even if you have no sequence blocks, historising these parameters and finding out when they peak, might help you associate the time when something else is happening in your plant. Terry Doucet, Eng. I've had a look and since I replaced the CP40A a week ago we've had 40 over runs. With regards the installation this hasn't been touched in a long time - all the connectors seemed ok when I replaced the CP40A when they failed. The loading is about 42% and the total control cycle (% of BPC) is below 50% for each cycle I'll check the fieldbus connections and let you know thanks for your time _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
