Hi Hizamri,
We use FBM232 and PAKIN --> MCIN --> BIN. No success in getting BIN's connected
directly.

Dirk

- Modbus TCP?
Many thanks for all advices...
Can I say, that it is not possible with modbus tcp..
We are upgrading these type of database to modbus tcp.. ( FBM 233 )
Again, many thanks..
God knows best..
Best regards..

This type of bit addressing should work with DH+ protocol, but I don't
think it works with ControlLogix or A-B Ethernet protocols.

I don't think BIN will do it.
We use MCIN to unpack a PAKIN bit assembly. ICC or FoxView then
connects to CIN_1 through CIN_32 of the MCIN block for data. The
MCIN downstream connects to the PAKOUT parameter upstream.
Be mindful of bit position depending on the original data source as
bits can be transposed from most to least significant and even bytes
swapped within words. Mr Alan Bradley & Mr Fox Burrow had different
opinions of bit significance it would seem...

Subject: [foxboro] BIN Block PNT_NO Options Read Individual Register
Bit
Dear Experts..
Is it possible for the BIN Block to read individual bit of a register..
We are able to get the reading via PAKIN, but we are not sure how
the PNT_NO should be written in the BIN Block..
Below is a sample that of ICC Print of PAKIN vs BIN Blocks
NAME = AD0141_DI:205_33
TYPE = PAKIN
DESCRP = INTERLINK FOR DA1MCIN02_2
PERIOD = 1
PHASE = 0
LOOPID = AD0141_DI
IOM_ID = AD0141
PKINGP = N205:33/U2
PKIOPT = 1
PAKCIN = 0
UPDPER = 10000
SIMOPT = 0
END
NAME = AD0141_DI:205_33_14
TYPE = BIN
DESCRP = D01FQAH1001A
PERIOD = 1
PHASE = 0
LOOPID = AD0141_DI
IOM_ID = AD0141
PNT_NO = N205:33/14
....
END
For any suggestion, I sincerely thank you...
God knows best..
Best regards..
