You really shouldn't lose any.
If you use the ICC, the work actually occurs on the CP's host AW. All
you are doing on the remote machine is accessing the HMI remotely.
The DM and FV configurators work the same way on both AWs and WPs.
Program development can be done on any of the machines remotely using
telnet and other similar tools.

Consider a UNIX plant with a mix of AW/WP D & G boxes at V6.5 & V7.1
respectively, distributed across 6 distinct operating areas of the
plant.
Then consider a central engineering area with an AW where 98% of the
configuration is performed on a daily basis. Now consider a decision to
replace the engineering AW with a WP (don't even ask how this decision
was
made). What functionality, if any, do I give up if I lose the AW for a
WP?
