I think it was the GCIO. I removed the GCIO cable, and it booted fine. Replaced and working. Thanks for the help. The reason I say this because I had this happen a couple of years ago and even called TAC and it ended up being the RCNI. Hope this helps -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kinsinger, Matthew R Sent: Tuesday, February 11, 2014 3:33 PM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [foxboro] 51G boot Issue I replaced the RCNI and the cat5e from the RCNI to the splitter, and it acted the same. I have another splitter here I could try I guess... I rebooted once to no avail. The next day I rebooted and it won't boot now. During the bootup sequence it does the / file system check and it seems fine. When it starts the IA portion after the copyright and says "NOTICE: vfox_attach" it pauses for a few seconds then says "Program terminated" and goes to the "ok" prompt. Is this a failed or corrupt hard drive? Or a hardware issue? Thanks in advance. I'm trying to avoid restoring the hard drive.
