Ron, Thanks for your comments. I did notice the "full screen" issue. I changed the definition for Engineer in dmcfg for "Window Attributes" to F and now the PC shows the full screen OK. Without F ( - default) when we toggled to full screen, it would briefly jump to full CRT but then drop back to default size. I will look at the Exceed Fonts to see if I can fix up the displays. Presenty, real values on the Exceed do not have the same resolution as real values on the WP51, even though the Exceed has a higher resolution that the main head of the WP51. The X-terminal shares the "alarm destination" with the WP logical name and that is something to take into account. If you want an Alarm manger associated with the remote DM you should do so in the "dmdcfg" file. Changes in this area as well as changes to the "/usr/fox/wp/data/wp51_glbls" file and the (preferred) "/usr/fox/wp/data/init.usr" file require a reboot of the station most of the time, so prevent making mistakes ;-) I have heard of problems when you maximize the remote DM/Foxview on high res screens (freezes, no resize possible that kind of stuff) but to resolve that you don't need to reboot the AW/WP. Sure hope this has helped Regards Ron Deen = Business Development Manager Invensys Systems N.V.
