Amen to mr. Hawkers comments. Moses writes of the unchangeable nature
of GOD and HIS unwavering faithfulness to HIS people. HE remembers HIM
who appeared to HIM in the "burning bush" and recognizes that HIS
blessing upon Joseph and all of his house is of the same origin as his
blessing there in wilderness, as the LORD told him to take off his shoes
because he was upon HOLY GROUND. Had the LORD not sustained
Joseph,/"him that was separated from his brethren." (Deut 33:16)/, then
Moses could never have been blessed to lead Israel out of Egypt and to
see the good will of GOD as HE destroyed Pharaoh and provided for the
Israelites for forty years of sojourn. /"For all these things do the
nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have
need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all
these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is
your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:30-32/)
