<div style="color:black;font:10pt 'arial'">Brothers, we found out this
afternoon that Don Torgerson suffered a heart attack last week at/near his home
base in Arizona. The medical team performed a triple bypass, and thankfully
he's still with us. Marty Bryant received a phone message from Don's
sister Janet (whom many of you may remember) and that started the ball rolling
on intel/sitrep. I just got off the phone with Don not 10 minutes ago.... he
sounded good and was in good spirits. Here's the highlights of the call:
<div><br />
</div>
<div> * Don said that the medical plan now is for him to be released from
the hospital at the end of this week. He will convalesce at home after that
for a period TBD.<br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> * He is still working.... not retired yet. Has dealt with high blood
pressure for some years, but no previous heart ailments.<br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> * He is (naturally) unsure about attendance at our class reunion in
October, but did share with me that he and Pagan have a granddaughter that is
getting married in Mansfield that same weekend. Attendance at either/both
events will naturally depend on his recovery rate.<br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> * Regarding sending anything.... getting something to the hospital
before he's dismissed might be problematic if he's going home at the
end of the week. Something to the house would probably be fine, but please
remember that Pagan has really severe allergy problems, so anything plant-based
probably isn't a good idea. I'll leave that up to y'all to handle
individually.<br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That's all I know at this time. Again, he sounded really good on the
phone and was actually quite chatty. If anyone has new/further info, please
add it to this email so we can all be kept up to date.</div>
