Hi Sher,
Awesome. Last night Slovakia defeated US. Hard to take after dominating the
perrennial favorites ... Canada, Russia and Finland. They needed to finish the
job in regular time but did not. Now for the ladies. I try to figure out
what life events steer kids in a direction. Today Tyler is 34. Before he got
hooked on hockey, I figured him for a linebacker ... strong and smart. I had
to stop being coach when he was 8ish because he knew all of the sports better
than I did. The Avalanche moved to Colorado and immediately won two Stanley
Cups and Tyler's parents had absolutely no clue about the game. Maybe that was
it. Easy to outshine the elders. He started on rollerblades in our driveway
because there was no available ice. I have the missing front windows to prove
it. They always play in the driveway when there is a family event at the
house. 3 of the grandsons ended up on the same rollerhockey team once and on a
scoring attack they nearly screwed the goalie's head off moving in to score
... the poor goalie had no chance ... My front windows paid for their
practice.DP

DP, since you’re talking hockey, this is our this year’s hockey pic. Dominic,
age 6, has been on skates since age 2, & this is his 2nd MN rec league team.
He was SO proud to get his name on his jersey! Dad even built a rink in the
front yard so they didn’t have to take him daily to the park rink! Lives,
eats, sleeps, breathes hockey! -sheri > > > >
