Thanks, all, for your comments. He is something else! Is also super big on
soccer.
When older sister started in soccer rec league, he was only 3, so during
practices, he would run up & down outside the sidelines as if he were playing,
too. Was all ready to go when he finally turned 5. Apparently, sports are
gonna be his thing. -sheri

Oh Sheri what a cutie!! We have an ice rink here in the winter. They have
these plastic crate looking things that beginners can hang onto & push
around. They are really cute! Jane

Since the subject was hockey, I’ll add my
2 cents. Yes, Jane, they still make double-edged skates for beginners.
That’s what my now 6 yr old grandson started on at age 2 on a pond behind
his maternal aunt/uncle’s house.
(The double edges only lasted the first year.)
Uncle played at collegiate level plus maybe some semi-pro & since his own
daughters weren’t interested, he started in early with Dominic, only nephew
at that time, by skating behind him until he got the hang of it. As you can
see, Dom was definitely hooked — absolutely loves it! He started on a rec
league this past year at age 5, & this pic was taken this past spring at age
5 1/2. Of course, hockey is major in MN. -sheri
