I can see updating the basic install at the warehouse and offering additional packages, such as you list below, at FGMLUG. The policy would keep the basic load small and uniform and provide an incentive to come to FGMLUG for the extras. Adding additional packages to a basic Ubuntu load means we have to support those packages and means we are designing our own distro.

Sounds like our project for Tuesday. We presently have enough computers for a class but they are not updated / final tested / cleaned. I've got a 4gb stick I can clean off to use at first... FGM will need to buy one of two for normal use though.
