Paul took Bob/Mary/Cearbhall on using the app, Instagram
Its like a photographic version of facebook, it is used mainly to share
photos/videos,
But one can send direct messages as well.
Its easy to use, and one can use the app, with voice over and talk back.
Cearbhall and Paul helped Mary to use seeing ai to read and describe a photo
with text,
It worked and told her all the image text perfectly.
There was much talk about the public services card, and using the Dart with
escalator out of order.
Paul learned that it is better to stand further down the platform, to board
the Dart.
Mary thought that when on a whats app phone call, and then you get another
call on the normal mobile phone,
That the mobile call , will take precedence, and knock the whats on call
off,
We demonstrated this and proved that this is not the case.
She had a friend who said this happened to her, but perhaps she answered the
normal call inadvertently ,
And knocked the whats app call off.
There was a discussion on using emojies and how they are easy to use by
visually impaired people now,
And how much fun can be had as well.
