May I ask you a very interesting question?
What is your honest opinion on a device
that is designed especially for the 'blind' ? ?
Why do I ask?
I have recently launched a small greenfield 'Accessibility' venture.
Quite honestly I am playing 'Devil's Advocate'
As we know full well we need new and creative 'Vendors' in our
Very specialised arena?
Here are some probing thoughts.
Do you feel this type of product boxes you into a 'corner'
And leaves you with little or no real options,
Compared to what is offered to our 'sighted' comrades?
Simply do a search for the best mobile phones for the blind in 2019?
Do not forget, this idea has been offered to us in a variety of packages.
We had the 'Ray Project'
And of course,
The 'Georgie' phone'?
Look, with 285 million blind people worldwide,
there is bound to be a market?
But did the previous offerings really succeed
Or did they die on the perilous vine?
You see each manufacturer needs critical mass
And, can one really produce this
Without compromising on price and ... benefits?
I personally do not know anyone who owns a 'blindshell' mobile phone?
Does this sound positive for a threatening 'J-Curve'?
Do digest my attachment
and please tell me if this unique option
Is something that will get you totally fired up on all 4 cylinders?
I who am a 'total' blind,
do like the way some 'Androids'
With very specialised operating systems help me 'invoke' the commands.
But would I ever really turn my back on
What 'Apple' and their ubiquitous 'IOS' have done for us blind?
Here is the next question alongside this fascinating idea.
Is it 'android' or 'IOS'
Or something special for the blind?
