I am planning on being there and I know that Gwyneth is as well. Sabine - we
will give a short presentation on the new group close to the beginning of
orientation around 5:30. I'll connect with you and Gwyneth in the next day or
so to outline what we want to say.

Hi, All!
We are back an in town and Voyta & I will go to orientation to meet all the new
folks. I am on a board committee (policy) so I don't know if it is acceptable
for me to also be part of the parent-teacher org? I love the name, btw. If it's
acceptable, I won't be able to share info this time around, as we were out of
town Sat, but I certainly can be there as extra body.

William and I were both planning to go the Back-to-School Orientation on
Thursday to introduce our new group – SCOPE – and to recruit some families to
join. Unfortunately, my grandpa just passed away this weekend (he was 90 years
old and his death is an end to 2 years of suffering, so our family is at peace
with it). His funeral is in my home town this Thursday, so we will no longer be
able to make it to the orientation that day.
We were hoping to get more folks to go and represent anyway, but now I’m
making a special request for at least two of you.

Hi All!Where has summer gone!? It has
been so busy! I won’t be able to make the meetings this
weekend as I spaced the dates and planned our last family
camping trip of the season over this weekend. I had also
suggested after attending the last board meeting that we
thank the board members by bringing them breakfast at the
next meeting. I didn’t help get this organized and it may
be a little late now… when do the board members actually
step down and new ones come on? Is it at the annual meeting?
May be we could collectively do something at the annual
meeting to recognize the board
member’s commitment, time, and hard work, especially
over the last many months?

areas of the Westbank and Seward
neighborhoods.

everyone!
I wanted to propose one agenda point for the “PTSO”
Meeting this Saturday at 11:00am. (After the Board meeting
– which starts at 9 or 9:30?? Could someone refresh my
memory?)
Can we talk about sending
a welcoming “delegation” of sorts to the Back-to-School
Orientation on August 28th that will give a
presentation about the up-and-coming “PTSO” at Southside
and how new families can get involved?
