personal pst problem in exch 2003

Hi friends
The problem started quite recently, Symptoms when clicking send/receive
message it displays send/receive error and after awhile a pop up appears
stating your mail box size exceeded try to reduce it.but mails are coming
and going with no problem.This happened for 5 users.
Action - Taken: 1. Login profile deleted of that particular user
2.Created new pst check mail box size it is in 500 kb
3. Uninstall xp sp2, outlook 2003 .
4. This is happening when delivery is changed to local pst.
Still the problem persist . Checked the microsoft site but didnt get any
valid help.Pls help to resolve the issue.
