Another post asking basic questions about how to do basic things.

When are these people going to learn that e-mail is a serious subject? It is
not for any Tom, Dick and Harry to just hook up an Exchange server and start
using that for e-mail.

I have said it before and I will say it again. If you want to know about
Exchange, or even how e-mail works, you need to do your homework and do some
reading and research.

Creating and using an e-mail server that can send and receive from the
Internet is a big responsibility. With responsibility comes work.

As for the question on how to receive e-mail from the Internet, even a
simple search of the archives will answer that.

What, you think your time is more valuable than ours?

I have only 1 machine

I have a cable internet connection.

my domain pereira.com

I have installed exchange server 2000 on the same machine

I have created many user in the active directory and i can send and receive
mails within the users of the active directory.

Now i have two doubts:-

1) Can i use my cable internet provider smtp and send mail to internet like

2) Can i receive mails from internet, if yes pls let me know how, bcos i am
