I agree with Naboth. We issue a default password for new accounts that must
be changed upon the first login - that is to say, we don't ask, we force the
user to change it.
In the Exchange Administrator, go to the configuration container and open
the IS Store Site Configuration properties. Select the Storage Warning tab,
and make sure it is configured to run at some times.

Can anybody please let me know how to configure a welcome message for  a new
user in Exchange 5.5? 
I give a default password for all new mailboxes created, and would like to
send an email to the user ( the first time he invokes outlook client),
asking him to change the password, 
Also, I have checked the option for "issue warning message" ( Exchange 5.5),
when the mailbox size reaches a certain limit, but the user does not get the
warning message. 
Can you please help me out with these issues?
