Wow, was I off, sorry! I think you're right on it - see
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/2000/maintain/11x2
kada.mspx (did a little digging). The info you need is just a little
less than halfway down the page.

Thanks Rick, In System Manager I went to Global Settings/Internet
Message Formats/Default and took the checkmark out of Allow Delivery
Reports. From what I've read thart should stop them???

I know on E2K3 you disable system messages on your outbound SMTP
connector - I don't have my hands on an E2K server at the moment, but I
think you set it in the same place on the older version. Be sure you
don't disable this on a connector that is used internally, or you could
break all sorts of things.

You should probably try to make sure you are not using that connector
for any system functions (replication for example) before you do so.

Simple and probably stupid question, but I'm under the gun and can't
find the option. In Exchange 2000 how do I stop all read receipts from
going outside the organization?

Thanks,
