Hi, i already had setup an exch server.
and i've test it for local used with telnet to lcoalhost on port 110 & 25.
and i test with outlook express on localhost too.
it's works.
but my server not connected to internet yet.
how to set it up ?
second, how to copy my old server AD to new server ?
and how to copy old exchange server database to new server ?

do you have 2000 net with AD ?
you need to have AD installed.
After this, you need to prepare your forest and domain.
The user to do this, needs enterprise admin, schema admin and domain admin.
run setup /forestprep after, setup /domainprep
run setup again with the options that you need.
The rest is NNF (next , next , finish)

Hi guys, I need help - urgent.
I've never used MS Exchange Server 2000 before.
Now our company want make a mail server, plan use MS Exchange 2000.
I already inistall a Windows 2000 Advanced Server, but i don't understand how to install Exchange.
Could anyone help me to do this ? Step by step ?
