If the security update is showing as having been installed under the
add/remove programs, try uninstalling and re-installing it.

Off-Topic

I am running Win2000Pro

A couple weeks ago our T1 went down while my PC was downloading an
automatic
update from Microsoft. Something must have happened to the file, because
now
my computer seems to download the 'Security Update, April 12, 2001'
every
morning. When it completes, I get the system tray icon indicating that
new
updates have been downloaded and are ready to install.

Does anyone have any ideas on why this may be happening and what I cold
do
to prevent it?
