In regards to the profiles, make sure your old Exchange server is still
active, at the least the old DNS name should now point to the current
Exchange server or your AD DC. You should not loose permissions as a
result of the move.

Subject: [ExchangeList] Moved mailboxes not re-homing

Been moving mailboxes within my org from a 2000 server to a 2003 box.
Moves go fine, but some mailboxes don't "home" to the new server name.
Users come in the next day and can't connect to the server as their
profile is still pointing to the old box. Is this a common issue?
Also, it seems that some mailboxes lose permissions to some public
folders, some other users lose perms to other user's calendars etc. Is
this expected behavior when moving mailboxes?

Thanks
