Migration Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 question

Hello at all,
I have a question. I work in an Exchange
Organization with Exchange 2003 and Exchange 5.5 sites. Users in Exchange
2003 are W2003 users and the users with Exchange 5.5 mailbox are NT users.
Every site has a smtp domain because every site belongs to a different
company inside the same enterprise. If I migrate a NT user to w2003 and move
his mailbox to an Exchange 2003 server of other site, this user will receive
e-mails? Exchange Directory Service of Exchange 5.5 servers will know where
it must send mails to this user?
