Hi Hermano, Lets say for argument sake you have both the old and new exchange boxes on the same LAN. All you need to do is right click your users under AD click on Exchange Tasks and then move their mail box to the new server. If you have done 2 and 3 well once you turn off (of course uninstalling it from AD so that Windows knows there is just one box now) you shouldn't have any problems. Steps 2 and 3 I did it well and I'm just concerning about step 1 and are you talking about Exchange Server Migration? I've never use the tool before so my question is: Will be something like a copy to or move to? So, is it just a promotion or something else needs to be done? 3 - Besides the DNS configuration with all pieces involved what else should I need to be aware? As you can see this is the first time that I've bee doing this and I don't want to mess up with anything, specially because we have been blessed with all settings and condition of all server nowadays. Thanks so much for any advice or comments.
