isinteg -priv -fix -test alltests -----Original Message----- From: Tiago de Aviz [mailto:Tiago@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 07 February 2004 18:21 To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Exchange 5.5 recovery http://www.MSExchange.org/ Uuhhhh........ if I can recall, you have to run isinteg against the priv.edb file or against -s SERVERNAME. That's the syntax you're using? I did try this but it just gives the "Jet Error JetErr_FileNotFound error whilst opening the IS databases" message. Any other thoughts? -----Original Message----- From: Tiago de Aviz [mailto:Tiago@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 07 February 2004 18:00 To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Exchange 5.5 recovery http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hey Andy, ESEUTIL /g isn't everything you need. You also have to run ISinteg -fix -alltests against your exchange database. I can't recall the entire sentence, but you can check out the ISinteg help, it's easy. Try running isinteg first. If Exch5.5 won't cooperate with you, show it who's the boss ;) You would have to create a new Information Store and restore the PST's using exmerge. But I think it's much better running isinteg at this time. It'll take a while, ok? Is this possible? I ran eseutil /g against the private and public stores, and no errors were reported. But when I try to start the information store I get "The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated with service-specific error 4294965485" which is a file not found error. Alternatively as they seem to keep most files locally in pst files rebuilding it with a blank database wouldn't be too disastrous. What is the easiest way of doing this?
