Hi,
Yes you can run ESEUTIL to reduce the size of the database, it will remove the
fragmented space in the database. before running please take both online and
offline backup of the system and make sure you have same disk space available
to run this utility.

Hi All,
I have one Exchange 5.5, its priv.edb is reaching its capacity.
Can any body tell me the safest way to compress the database size or a method
through which this problem can be solved.
ESEUTIL /d (Defargmentation) will it help? Is it safe to run on the existing
server?
