Hi Roger,

Fortunately your migration to Exchange 2003 from Exchange 2000 is much easier
and straight forward then a migration from Exchange 5.5. Microsoft has done a
very good job documenting the procedures
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/2003/library/depguide.mspx
however you'll have to do your home work to make sure the project goes
smoothly. Good luck in your migration.

Jose

Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange 2003 Upgrade: Installing new Exchange 2003
Front-end server

HI Experts,

We are planning to upgrade our Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 server.
We have planned even to replace our existing servers to a new high end servers.
What we have planned is to first replace our Front end server and then go for
backends
I needed advice to ow to go about it. i needed a detailed documents, white
papers on step by step configurations , options to select while installing the
exchange 2003 server as front end server. I checked in net and found documents
on how to upgrade the existing 2003 server but not how to replace 2003 front
end server

Please advice

Thanks
Roger
