Can you telnet to port 25 from each server to the other? - use the
server name to check DNS as well eg. "telnet xyzcustmail.com 25"
Is it on a WAN/VPN or is it internet based?
If its internet based have you checked something like www.dnsstuff.com
for correct MX records?
Are there firewalls involved, if so what type?
Is it just SMTP routing?
Was it ever working or is it new?
